Aneth Kasebele

Aneth Kasebele is an international development economist with over 15 years of experience. She focuses on financial sector policy, regulation, and supervision, with a strong interest in technology innovation, digital finance, and FinTechs. Aneth has worked internationally to develop inclusive financial ecosystems and enhance regulatory environments. She has held roles at UNCDF and BFA Global, demonstrating strong skills in team management, research, and collaboration with policymakers and regulatory and high-level industry figures. Aneth’s earlier consulting work with Deloitte Tanzania and Analysis Group, Inc. in Boston spanned various sectors.   

She holds a Master’s in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University. Her career reflects a deep commitment to responsible financial inclusion and market development, underpinned by her expertise in technology’s regulatory and supervisory implications. 

Before BFA, Aneth worked as a consultant with Deloitte Consulting Limited in Dar es Salaam and Analysis Group, Inc. in Boston. During these years, Aneth served public and private sector clients across multiple sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, and healthcare.
